End of Life Services
We offer an array of End of Life services for patients, families and individuals at their end of life. In service, our goal is to honor the end of life process and providing, comfort, care, honoring wishes, legacy work, vigil and guidance on helping to have a good death.
Education and Worshops
We all need guidance and support on the end of life process and planning. We also offer workshops to have open conversations, understand options and how much has evolved in end of life planning.
Resources and Consultations
We offer an extensive offering of supportive resources for the patient, care takers, families, palliative care teams, and death doulas in training. We also welcome a free consultation to discuss your needs, thoughts and decisions around various options through this time.

As an End-of-Life professional service and guide, To The Other Side Death Doula is devoted to walking alongside clients in compassion and grace, supporting and preparing for their end-of-life journey. I bring an open-hearted practicality to support dying people and their families, while being a guide to navigate the emotional, practical and spiritual issues of contemplating or nearing the end of life. Founded in 2023, we offer end-of-life planning, legacy work, vigil and ritual, comfort care, legal paperwork and logistics and discussion of options. We also offer advocacy services and support in VSED (voluntary stopping of eating and drinking) for those who are terminally ill and Medical Aid in Dying (MAID). We create comprehensive end of life plans that are unique to each individual and cherished life experiences, while also providing peace of mind to clients and supporting families.
We are based in Los Angeles, but we serve clients all over through online education, virtual consultations and travel. Jody Nisbet is trained through INELDA, (International End-of-Life Doula Association) and is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). Jody is also certified as a Grief Educator through David Kessler. Our clients can be in the peace knowing that their end of life wishes are known and their loved ones are supported after they are gone.
